The Interactive Screen Programme 2005-10

This programme has been run by:

Neville Bradshaw, Caroline Long and Hilary Spencer
(Primary and Learning Consultants working for Cumbria Children's Services.)

We wish to acknowledge the steadfast support of John Nixon, the SIO for ICT in Cumbria and the Senior Management Officers of the School Improvement Team, Children's Services in Cumbria who had the fore-sight to continue their support throughout the year.

We would like to acknowledge the support from the Heads and Senior Managers of the individual settings involved in the project and most of all the teachers and teaching assistants who worked so hard throughout the year to produce their materials and compose their web page reports.

The Project element of the Programme has now ceased as the use of screens to support teaching and learning is now well established in Cumbria and the benefits and cost effectiveness accepted and and confirmed in several ofsted reports on the use of screens in classrooms.
